We are pleased to welcome three new designers to the fold…the first is Bookhou from Toronto. I have some very sweet little bags and pouches with modern designs handprinted on the linen.

With graduation and Father’s Day in mind, we have found fabulous money clips and card clips by Contexture Design of Vancouver. They are made of architectural wood veneer offcuts with sturdy nickel clips; the backsides of the money clips are also painted and have letraset graphics.

Hi, it’s a very exciting week here, our art show is up and live on the webshop, if you’d like to purchase any of the pieces. Remember if you see a “Backordered” message, it means that piece is sold out, and we will promptly be removing it from the site. Good luck!

We also have put the Anatomie Shop up in the webstore, but without the Buy buttons. You can check out the dimensions and such however. One piece is not listed yet as it was slightly damaged in shipment and we are reassessing that piece, but it will be on display at the shop.

We’ve been getting some questions about buying art from the upcoming Lisa Congdon show online. Lisa is a fair and honest soul and instead of any pre-sale, we are deferring online sales to coincide with the actual opening day of the show, which is Wednesday the 18th. Please check back on the 18th when we will add the work to the shop! There is a possibility that we will put images up early but there will not be a way to purchase the work until the 18th.

Things to note: Our shopping cart is not set up to automatically deactivate work as it is sold. If a piece sells, you will see a big orange Backordered message. Obviously the work is one of a kind and cannot be backordered. DO NOT BUY the work if you see this message! If you do, your payment will be refunded. We will try and deactivate work as fast as we can by removing the Buy button, but there are of course limits to how fast we can do this. Finally, work will not be shipped until the end of the show. Shipping will be calculated at that time, depending on the destination and kind of shipping (regular or express, insured, etc) and we will be in contact with you about payment for shipping.

Finally – please do come to the opening reception on THURSDAY the 19th – there are 20 signed and numbered sets, each containing a few small screenprints and a tiny and lovely collage (see all 20 here) and they will ONLY be available at the party. We’ll see you soon!

At this very second in New York, the sun is beating brightly down, but we are in for some crazy, rather unseasonable weather next week. So, a bit of color therapy for you in this post.

I love presents in the mail. This packet of cards and such is from Sabine Brandt in Denmark who wants to design some stickers for us. I am a big fan already but now even more so! The cards and the shop vegetation mascot are resting on some photo boxes that we use to store jewelry inventory. They are great boxes and have a ton of uses…yes we have a few for sale at the store.
