Even though the movers arrive in 10 hours, even though we are not done packing and I’m supposed to be unplugging the computer, I have to write. First I want to say thank you to everyone who I have talked to lately for their encouragement with the move, and with the new store, and with new beginnings in San Francisco. I will miss you all so it’s good I’m returning to visit soon, to give a talk with Amy of Greenjeans at the final ACC Salon on September 20.

Webshop news: due to the traveling and transition, we will be reducing the number of products online and not be adding any new product for a couple weeks. You can of course find everything in the store but until things smooth out, shipping will slow down until around August 10.

Elsewhere: Sodafine is having a big sale this weekend – if you need cute tops or dresses or denim, head on over there. Her neighbor is having a sale too, plus BBQ. Who doesn’t want BBQ?

Meet Erin, the owner of Sodafine in Williamsburg and (soon) Park Slope. I am so thrilled to be sharing storefront space with her! As you can see, we have a lot of fun together.

This coming week will be my last week at the store! You will see me Wednesday through Sunday, and then we close until August 1. I will be in San Francisco primarily, but will put a note on this blog when I return to NY to check up. I like visitors.

Don’t miss: Succulents jewelry show at our neighbor shop Greenjeans, Thursday night reception, gorgeous jewelry. I applaud Jae and Amy for putting on a group show, it’s something I haven’t tried yet due to the amount of work!
