I am so happy to announce that we have uploaded all of Betsy’s work for preview here. It will go on sale at noon on May 1 (California time) on our website. You can go directly to Betsy’s Rare Device shop here. Also, don’t forget about Betsy’s opening party Thursday, May 1 from 7-9 pm. Betsy will be there and there will be food and drinks and lots of beautiful work for sale.

Just a quick note to say we were in the Wall Street Journal (here) today, and also Daily Candy (here). Just found out about both – a nice surprise for the end of a long, breezy month.

Today is the last day of the Beholder show, and Thursday night is the opening reception for Betsy Walton. Please stop by our SF store to meet Betsy and see some of her great new work!

We received some bright and shiny new bags from Tano in the SF store, and new art book titles. We also finally have a new shipment of Fernworks necklaces in the NY store, so get them while you can!

The book selection is all over the place – we’ve restocked some favorites (like the 5 Year Diary) and added new titles like Riceboy Sleeps, with artwork by a Sigur Ros musician; One of Each which has 200 photos of everyday objects that belong to Karsten Bott; Worlds Away: New Suburban Landscapes; and Bear Flavoured, a survey of international contemporary art that celebrates hirsute boys and those who love them. Come on in this beautiful weekend and take a look!

The Beholder group show at Rare Device SF ends next week, we hope you will come by to experience it before it comes down! A big thanks to Suzanne and everyone participating. The next artist is Betsy Walton from Portland, OR, and it will open with a big party on May 1. This image is from the show, and we will work to have everything online for purchase by the opening date!
