Good news – we have some books from Redcat online, including the rather amazing Margaret Kilgallen one and the new Ed Fella/Geoff McFetridge one. And we have Evan Hecox’s book too, which I love to bits.

Bad news – 58 degrees and a chance of afternoon showers on Sunday, so come early, and please bring some hot chocolate for us.

Rena here – back from New York and the Stationery Show and ICFF and closing the shop in Brooklyn. I am sitting in the store with Lisa and we are getting stuff done here, and admiring the new product lines…first up we have graphite writing objects from AS Batle, who is in San Francisco. He is an artist who invented a technique to compress pure graphite into beautiful sculptural forms. We have five styles and will have them in the webshop soon. They are a super gift for men and women and if you actually use it to write with, can last 7-9 YEARS.

Hello again from Rena – I’m in Brooklyn and yesterday was our last day open. We were going to open today (Sunday) but there really is nothing left to buy! You might see me and Derek in there cleaning up and packing but again – we are not open, except for folks to come pick up the store fixtures they have bought.

Thanks again for a great run in Park Slope!!

As those of you who live in the Bay Area know, it’s super warm here right now. In San Francisco it’s in the 90’s and that rarely happens. It’s even hot in the store, which rarely gets hot (it’s protected from direct sunlight so it has to be really warm outside for it to get warm in here). Anyhow, I am feeling really warm and lazy today!!
