Just another Thursday at the shop, great new items in! We have awesome new porcelain animals from Brooklyn designer kgranadey–a pair of claws (more like talons!), a chihuahua head that suspiciously resembles one of our resident canines…and a pair of “bears in love”!

Also in are new bags from The Property of. We can’t decide which one we covet most. Check out our New Arrivals and pick your favorites!

We have been fans of Amy and her Perch! products since the get-go. We have just restocked some faves, including her beak vase and the container for one thing…and we added the new Wall Balls, which are ceramic containers that hang on a wall and hold pretty much anything – spare change, your keys, a little plant, m&ms, you name it.

Also restocked are posterhangers for new art to pretty up your place…

It has been many years but we are reinstating lookbooks on the Rare Device site. These are just little vignettes or glimpses of what goes on at the store when we are merchandising. We’ll be updating this section when the mood strikes us, or as we find new themes around the store.

Also: just got a Roost order in, restocking many faves like the Copenhagen Carafes, bark wine openers and the beautiful floating feather ornaments.

Today we got a brand-new shipment of acrylic mirrors from SF-based Petit Collage. The mirrors are laser-cut and perfect for baby’s room! Choose from either an apple or elephant shape. Check them out in New Arrivals!

But we’re not just about baby…we’ve also gotten a replenishment of our ever-popular thin yellow and rose gold rings from designer Amy Tavern. Speaking of, she–along with Molly McGrath (Molly M Designs), Martha McQuade (Uniform Natural), and Carol Gilbert (Yorktown Road)–will present Fault Lines, a new art opening right here in our newly redesigned project space!

We have tons of wallets and card cases from JFold in stock right now. We love seeing people pull out their ratty wallet and shuffle their possessions into their new wallet at the counter – this happens quite a lot I guess it’s something you forget to buy until you see cool new ones…we have a variety of colors and configurations, for traditionalists and minimalists.
