Felted Nesting Bowls

Hand crocheted with an 85/15 wool/mohair blend in various colors with a different color base. These bowls were wet felted, dried around molds to create their shapes and then steam blocked.

Before they are wet felted the bowls are much larger in shape, but with the combination of agitation, hot water and soap the wool fibers interlock and form a firm fabric.

Bowls are lovely just by themselves as a table centerpiece or as a creative and colorful way to organize your office desk. Use several on your dresser for jewelry, in the bathroom filled with cotton balls etc. or in your work area for sewing notions.
